I love 'at sixes and sevens' as a translation for 乱七八糟! It's so wonderful that there is a corresponding number-related idiom in English.

Another number-related phrase that comes to mind: 四舍五入, basically 'round down for 4, round up for 5'.

啊啊原来日语也用这个词！（我不久前刚开始学日文（非常非常初级），遇到与中文重叠的词汇时总觉得很有意思，容易记😊）
