Date: 2022-02-02 12:41 am (UTC)The only accent identification I can do is a sliding scale from "oh yeah I understand this" to "are we even still speaking the same language??" XD
And yeah, aside from the exceptions noted on the wiki page (which are specific to Beijing dialect anyway) it's just a pronunciation difference… albeit a fairly notable one given that at least some uses seem to be codified in standard Putonghua pronunciation. Which is expected, given Beijing and all.
(Arguably even 过 could be superfluous – 昨天我没去 itself already works, though I feel 过 adds the emphasis of "didn't go at all"?)
