Literally a 深深 song for every occasion! He always looks so happy <3 Also I think that's the first time I've heard 李宇春 sing, what a gorgeous middle range.
(We've definitely talked about 要 some before, I figure review is always good. I think the hardest thing about 要 is that want/need/will depends so much on context, not grammar...)

Most of the SHL quote is too difficult for me, I can only tell it's something about Four Seasons Manor...

And what always strikes me in the Mango Youth Night performance is that Zhu Yilong clearly still has the original Ren Suxi version stuck in his head (you know it, right?), because of the way he pronounces 吉他 - once with a g (gita/guitar, the way Ren Suxi does), and once with a j (jita). *g*

Rough translation, as best I can parse it (there's definitely bits where the language goes over my head too!): Lao-Wen, you and my shifu are master and disciple in name, but there's no real master-disciple relationship. If you're not willing to recognise Siji Manor as your school, I have no right to insist. But if my shifu in the underworld knew the child of the Wen couple has come back to Siji Manor, he'd surely be overjoyed.

Ooh, nice catch, I never noticed that. Good for him keeping the lyrics straight on stage, can you imagine the Internet's reaction if he'd sung 我的情郎? ;)
