贵, noble (?! why is THAT the main definition here), also expensive or precious (pinyin in tags)

先生贵姓?-免贵姓沈,沈巍. May I ask your [honorable] name? – No courtesies needed, it’s Shen, Shen Wei. [aagh, this is worse than Japanese for translating honorifics.]
两个朋友之间,贵在知心, between two friends knowing each other well is precious [I think].
算了吧. -不行,我们再试一次. Forget it. – It won’t do, let’s try again.

这也难怪他早睡了,昨天那么忙。他肯定太困了吧。
我虽然喜欢这个白短裙但是不买了,太贵了吧。

I was literally going to say 这也太贵了吧 …and then I realised it's already right there on the grammar page too. 吝啬-ness, thy name is Chinese XD

There's also 贵宾 for VIP and 贵[noun] as with 贵姓 above (one of the equivalents of the お/ご prefix, basically?), but a rather unique if not-too-common use is 贵人 for someone who's helped you greatly and not necessarily in the material sense.

Unrelated song rec: 成为你的所有 by Astro Bunny popped up on my Spotify weekly list and I do quite like it!

Hah, that is rather misleading. XD But to contribute to the list of usages where it actually does mean something like "noble," I'll offer 贵庚 (for politely asking an older person's age, e.g. 请问贵庚?) and 贵干 (for politely asking "how may I help you?": 请问有何贵干?).
