玩玩
A couple of related links that came to mind. Swallowing Clouds is a book by A. Zee, a Chinese-American physicist, about learning to read Chinese through Chinese restaurant menus, more or less; it’s very entertaining. How to Order and Eat in Chinese and How to Cook and Eat in Chinese are pretty much what they sound like, both by Buwei Yang Chao, the wife of my 偶像 Chao Yuen Ren (with snarky footnotes by CYR himself. A duck recipe ends with “Very often, we enjoy sucking the bones more than eating the meat.* *That’s fine, darling. I’ll have the meat, please. -Y.R.C.”). The links go to openlibrary.org; I think you have to sign up/sign in, but it’s free of charge and easy to use.

这里春天来了,樱花也快要开花了,都是粉色的。大家过得怎么样?
