The one problem with learning vocab from dramas! You could learn every word in a whole 40-episode show and still not know how to say "blue." XD Though come to think of it, I'm also surprised 蓝 is HSK2 rather than HSK1. I would have thought all the basic colors would get labelled as beginner material.

lol, too true! (Although I wonder how many colors you could put together from names. In Guardian alone, aside from 蓝, there's 白素霞 (not to speak of 白宇), 祝红, 黑袍使, 黄 what's his face the mogul...)

The HSK lists are truly mysterious. Who puts these things together. (They also don't seem to contain useful everyday words like "hairbrush," "stove," "diary" and so on...).

It's interesting how just adding 呢 can change the tone of a question so much. It's also one of those things that probably doesn't wind up being taught in lessons too often, at least not via app based learning.

Yes, good point. I suspect it's one of those that's a lot easier to learn through osmosis, as it were, than in a formal lesson.
