Side note that 半天 doesn't necessarily have to mean a literal half day (unless in a factual discussion, of course) – imo it's often used exaggeratedly, in the same way you might go "ugh I've been waiting forever!!1!" in the most aggrieved fashion possible, and there's always 老半天 for extra effect™

Hah, cool, I've actually wondered about this, because the place I mainly know 半天 from is a song lyric where it feels like it could go either way -- "用半天講我的意思 / 用半天寫我的心意." I did sort of assume it was an exaggeration, especially since a couple of lines later it turns into the obviously exaggerated "講了多次 / 寫了千次," but good to have it confirmed that the exaggeration is a typical usage!

It might be that scene... It's Wu Xie (in the warehouse) on the phone to Pangzi (in pink Hello Kitty shirt), and Wu Xie next says:

Right on. (I feel like the 就 here wants translated as "So..." or something like that)
