do you by any chance remember what translated Japanese novels you read early on? Maybe I happen to know the English version well.

do you by any chance remember what translated Japanese novels you read early on?
mm, the thing is I did it backward--I read a bunch of novels that I knew very well in English, translated into Japanese. Can't remember now which ones they were at first, but I think there was Anne McCaffrey and Diana Wynne Jones among others? Basically books I had read so many times in English that I could understand the Japanese even if I didn't actually know all the words.
