恭喜!咱们每天都学过了三年了!万分感谢大家一起来!
Today marks the beginning of Year Four (hopefully not a bad omen, knock wood) of this community! Thank you, subscribers and commenters and lurkers and people who drop by every now and then, for being around.
As usual, we face the problem of: what next? There are still many many vocabulary words to go, no problem, but we're starting to near the end of the Mandarin Bean grammar page (maybe another couple months' worth left). Go back and review the Grammar Wiki pages? Look for a different grammar site to work through? Something else, grammar-related or otherwise? Suggestions and requests are called for. Likewise, is there anything different/new you'd like to see here in general? Let me know.
祝大家有结果的一学年!

Date: 2025-01-11 03:40 am (UTC)I also wouldn't mind revisiting the Grammar Wiki pages. A nebulous idea I had was a weekly language game of some sort? Don't ask me how this would work... Something with comments, but all comments count...?

Date: 2025-01-13 04:03 am (UTC)Game-wise... chengyu shiritori? It could be "Bai Yu style" 😄 and not need be an actual chengyu, but a phrase or something. The post presents a phrase, and each comment comes up with a chengyu/phrase beginning with the last hanzi in the post.
But honestly, whatever you would like to post is welcome! I'm learning so much from this community!
