第七天！ (As we get into the higher numbers, I'm starting to doubt my ability to identify multiples of seven...) No grammar today (unless anyone feels like it), post something you like in Chinese whether it's a song or a 成语 or a quotation or something visual, go to town.

Another one from my recently-added likes, from the Taiwanese band 茄子蛋 aka EggPlantEgg: 閣愛妳一擺 aka Koh ài lí chi̍t pái in Hokkien (as transcribed in the video description… cue me staring and trying to figure out how that maps to the pronunciation I know), further aka 再愛妳一次/再爱妳一次 in Mandarin.

And because I now have Zhou Shen content deficiency (after being distracted by Guardian GIFs this weekend XD), a post I just re-found from potahun defining the slang "立flag" with helpful teaching aids courtesy of 勤深深 XD

That video of Zhu Yilong recording the song is such a ray of sunshine! :D And I really like the song.

I like this 8-minute behind-the-scenes/promo video (with English subs) for the gorgeous movie, Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity (warning: it's spoilery). Without English subtitles (Mandarin hardsubs only) there is also a 22-minute version.

And here's the movie's ending song, which I love ♥ (sung by Deng Lun, who played Boya). There are interesting comments about translating the lyrics, and the gorgeous artwork for the video backdrop was from the movie's Weibo account.

I just started using a new app (like, 昨天, so I don't know if it's going to actually be useful) called HanBook, which includes a dictionary, flashcards, little games that you can play, and interesting little cultural and grammar articles. One of the biggest downsides that I've noticed so far is that there don't seem to be any instructions on how the games work or how to use the flashcards, but I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet, so I may have overlooked it.

Alas, they JUST TODAY switched over from a task-based VIP system to a paid Premium system, which is v. disappointing to me since I could actually manage the tasks to get the good stuff, ha.

A bit belatedly, but thank you for posting the Zhu Yilong videos! He is adorable. :D

(I listened to the first one several times and could never actually hear the 好难呀... no idea if I'm just not listening to the right part of the audio or...??? I hear the song, and then it suddenly cuts off and there's a clip of very distorted audio that could be words, but doesn't sound at all like 好难呀 to me? and it gets cut off almost immediately, followed by silence/laugh track until the song starts again? Is it there and I'm just not hearing it?)

I hadn't heard the full version of the theme song before, either, so thanks for linking that too! :) This also reminded me to finally look up the rest of the OST, because I knew there was at least one other Zhu Yilong song on the show, so now I'm listening to that one, too. (I almost never go to YouTube, or obviously I would have looked these up before!)

Yes, I agree with you on both points ;) I think you're right, it's hard to tell if he's saying that at all or if somebody just stuck it in the 字幕. Either way I think it's funny...

I knew there was at least one other Zhu Yilong song on the show, so now I'm listening to that one, too.
Also a good song! I try not to listen to either of the LTR songs too often because they both make me cry, oh dear.
