Guardian:
干炒豆皮。是我奶奶最喜欢的菜 (Li Qian the filial granddaughter)
可你三番五次地来打扰我工作，你这让我很为难呀。(sure, Shen Wei, like you're objecting to being disturbed by Zhao Yunlan)
你知不知道你跟你父亲的性格如此的不同，他为何还要举荐你当特调处的处长吗 (do you know why your father recommended you for SID chief even though your personality is so different from his? I think.)
My practice:
我有很多我爸的爵士钢琴录音。
我侄女在她学校学习中文，英语，台语，和呢语。
你一定要告诉你男朋友实话。

(This one--the omitted 的--makes a little more sense to me instinctively, things that are very familiar/intimate/frequent can have the form elided a little for convenience...maybe.)
