玩玩
Several versions of “doing your own thing” in Chinese: 按照自己的步调,自己的节奏,掌控自己的时间,做时间的主人.
Also a Mayday song that came up randomly, 倔强 (and wow, yeah, okay I see why Mayday is called the Taiwanese Mr.Children). Also interested by 倔强 the word, which is “stubborn” in Chinese and “tough, sturdy, brawny” in Japanese.

Thank you for the Mayday song, I like this one a lot!

(Since I went looking: the official music video has simplified subtitles, for those of us who can't make heads or tails out of traditional characters. Also English subs, for those of us who can't read Chinese well enough at all. *g*)

1. Randomly today, I noticed 场 in the coming soon poster for 消失的她 (Lost in the Stars): 看场好戏
[Pardon the Twitter link, but I didn't find the full view of this poster elsewhere.]

2. A question! For Reasons, I'm looking for a chengyu or other type of traditional saying that would mean something like "not all gifts are to be welcomed," or "beware of Greeks bearing gifts" or even "don't trust gifts that come with strings attached." Basically, expressing a feeling that an offered gift [in this case, because it comes from a certain person] may not be as welcome/innocuous as it appears. I've gone down some rabbit holes of searching, but haven't found anything about gifts that implies something negative. Is there any saying that might fit this?
