April update (1)

We are moving along. Thank you very much, people who have signed up to do some things; please go at your own pace and comment here any time with questions or concerns. Anybody else, please feel free to do so also :)
I have been very slowly applying the HSK beginner-list words to the SW/ZYL script. (Strictly speaking I suppose it's a ZYL/BY script, containing Ye Zun et al. as it does. Ye Zun has quite a lot to say, doesn't he?). Some words fit nicely into immediately memorable lines, while others are not present in the script at all (apparently there are no seasons in Dragon City, and not much in the way of sports or the arts, and also neither Shen Wei or Zhao Yunlan ever takes or refers to public transportation). Compensating with some words that, while not in the beginner-level list, seem useful to have. I'm about half to a third done, and once the word list by episode is done, we can start making practice problems.
・To that end, if you have a favorite line, or a bunch of favorite lines, please comment with them here! Lines not spoken by Shen Wei or Zhao Yunlan also very welcome.
・fan, once I actually have some practice problems in hand I will contact you about Chinese checking. Your patience is appreciated...
・tinny, thank you again for the Anki card. I was a bit out of it this week but have finally managed to download Anki and figure out how to add cards to this deck; what I haven't worked out yet is how to change the appearance, add the pinyin line, etc., but I will try.

p.s.: I tried contacting the person who did the subs, but they didn't reply. the last sub they added was a month ago. Maybe they gave up, too.

ankiweb.com has a pretty detailed documentation.

You download the app (unless you have macOS, then the app is not free - they know where they can get their money...), and then you import the card template that I posted, and then you click on the set, and then you click "Add", and enter your vocab into the cards one by one.

If everyone needs a guide, I can look for one or write one up, with screenshots etc.

Thank you! I'm on Windows, so that's good at least. And I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out eventually!

But if you could post a guide, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's new to it and would appreciate it. :)

True, the AnkiApp is free.

I use both the windows app and the Android app, and while the latter doesn't have the exact same features, it's good enough for me.

I wasn't actually trying to insult Apple users. :D

I just noted that Apple always charges more for things, so they should be used to it and not complain when an app costs money. (No explicit comment on intelligence was made. :D)

(I use the free AnkiApp on iOS, but I'm willing to pay for the original Anki if it involves Guardian. ♥ Also happy to sponsor others on iOS who might want it.)

No, I think you will find it is me who has misunderstood ;) I haven't figured it out yet and I may have given you wrong information, let's see how it works out; either way you are very kind to consider paid content.

Decks are compatible across all apps, and can be created/edited with all apps, too.

And since all decks are user-made, they're all free.
