okay, this is 98% cheating because it’s not very relevant to Chinese at all, but here is the Kyoto Tachibana High School Marching Band performing at Taiwan’s National Day ceremonies. My excuses for having it here are a) there is a little bit of Mandarin commentary, b) it’s a pun for us (Kyoto Tachibana is 京都橘, same like our 一天一橘), c) it’s fun. I have some qualms about the Japanese high school marching band work ethic, but that’s a problem for another day…
