I got very little today except for a handful of 成语 or 成语-ish expressions and a question.
心痒难搔，frustration, a mental itch you can’t scratch; 刨根究底，get to the root of the matter; 超过必要，to do more than necessary; 一片浆糊，all confused; 莫名其妙，completely confused (is there a pattern here?); 为难自己, to make trouble for yourself (I think)
Also, I have noticed in some dramas that sh/x sounds in the middle of words are often pronounced like “r” instead: 马上, 蓝小姐, 不是，晚上好 --> “marang, Lan-raojie, buri, wanranghao” and so on. Is this another version of 儿化, anyone have any idea?
