我觉得在你的地方夏天比这里凉快啊 ;) 我家现在有南方的窗户，冬天的阳光很好不过夏天热死了...

是的, my Chinese isn't up to this but I used to live under the roof, 夏天也热死了, so I went from there to the other extreme. Now I would like a nice medium, please, and also lower heating costs. (Possibly I'm getting older, LOL. Can it be?!)

屋顶下？ I'm not sure either ;) Our summer is so long that heating costs are less to the point than air conditioning costs, sadly.

Air conditioning isn't really a thing here in private homes, and our summers aren't generally hot enough for long enough to make them worth having. But heating is very very necessary for a lot of the year.
