I don’t have much today, just some handy phrases from my conversation practice. 起大早赶晚集, to be like the hare in the proverbial race; 纠缠, to tangle; 心有灵犀, to understand telepathically (not sure what the rhinoceros is doing in there); 见缝插针, to make use of little bits of time between things; 信达雅, the Qing-era polymath Yan Fu’s standards for (or issues in) translation, “faithful, expressive, elegant.”
