various and assorted verbs have been confusing me this week (in a lot of cases it's 了's fault, why does this one need 到 in addition to 了? why does this one need the 了 right after when this nearly identical sentence has it at the end? aaaargh.) so it's good to remember that a nice straightforward one exists.

I wonder if the 喝/吃 distinction relates to eating with a spoon vs chopsticks?
