语法
吧 for concessions (okay, then; well, FINE)
https://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/grammar/Conceding_with_%22ba%22
词汇
干, do (see pinyin to distinguish it from yesterday’s 干, dry); also 干什么 (the word list has “what to do,” but I know this as “what are you doing” or “why”, oh dear) 干 gàn, do; also 干什么 gàn shénme, what to do

Guardian:
你在这干什么, what are you doing here
好好干啊, ...do your best? 頑張って?
那行吧,那我就把这些圣器...你不是沈巍. Okay, fine, I’ll give you the...you’re not Shen Wei.
Me:
好吧,我知道,你不会吃辣,那我们就点不辣的火锅吧。
你干什么呢,不用给那只猫抚摩,它会生你的气。

这些年来跟着庄主出生入死,你叫我干什么我都干什么。 但四季山庄兄弟及至亲屡遭迫害让我不得不质疑晋王的初衷。 事到如今我实在干不下去了。

I wonder if 我实在干不下去了 is close to 我做不到...
Close to how? I mean, the second is "I can't do that" and the first is "I can't keep doing that any more", right? Or am I wrong about that?

No, you're right to the best of my knowledge; I was thinking of 做不到 as something like "I can't do it (all the way to completion)" (there's a scene from The Rebel where it's used along the lines of "even though I've already started to do X, I can't follow through on what you're ordering me to do," giving me a similar sense).

Yup. Add it to the list of "Chinese phrasing that will take a few more years to understand intuitively," sigh...
