Kind of a random song today--I don't know how I arrived at it and I don't recognize either the song or the singer, but I like it: 如燕 covered by 朱兴东.

事务
I've updated the sticky post a bit to include a list of links sourced from various helpful suggestions, let me know if you have anything to add/change/etc.

[twitter.com profile] wenella posted new photos from Zhu Yilong's studio, and in the one where he's eating noodles, I could read all but one word (the word for "garlic"), which made me feel "yay! progress!" - except I didn't correctly guess the meaning of the sentence. -_- Oh, well!

I like how the garlic one rhymes!

Transcripts in order because why not:

哈喽

吃面不吃蒜
香味少一半

拥抱自然

Thanks for the transcript, because I could not read that handwriting!

Also, that's not the word I've learned for garlic, interesting!

Now that I'm thinking/looking at it harder, I think I have the same experience you do, 大蒜, but I'm just not familiar enough with it (I've only seen it in my Drops app!) to recognize it as the same character without the 大 in front of it!

Now that actually writing stuff doesn't happen anymore, I'm half convinced the real benefit of familiarity with stroke order is the fact that it does help when trying to decipher handwriting…

Thank you so much for the transcripts!

Awwww, I hadn't come across 哈喽 before.

ETA: Yeah, I was *never* going to get 然 from the handwriting. :D Thank you again!

Haha, yeah, this 然 is definitely a case of "I can read what it says because I guessed what it probably was anyway" XD
