Good news for brain: after a moderate amount of picking mine up and shaking it, I now recall the existence of 令尊 / 令堂 as terms to respectfully address the other person's father / mother, which suggests similar 令~ constructions may exist for other family members too?

…………and now I am also consciously noticing that 令 is rendering in (what I think of as) the Japanese character instead of the Chinese one with マ at the bottom……
