罢工不干了 then I realised… that's gàn instead
I had to look it up...ah, 罢工 okay! well, today is your chance for gàn (or 不干 as the case may be) ;)

(Da Qing's 小鱼干, dry ice being 干冰 in the common name, and I guess 干杯 for kanpai)
These are all very easy to remember, 谢谢!

干脆 for… something like "straightforward" or "might as well", depending on context? (probably one of those words easier translated to Japanese instead XD)
干脆 is one of those ones I keep on looking up and then losing track of. You might be right about the Japanese, the net gives me いっそのこと which is certainly not easy to say in English。。。
